Stealth Media
Here is a small selection of pieces from the past 3 years at Stealth Media.
This is a piece I did to promote Stealth Media as a marketing company. The script was a collaboration between the creative director and myself, audio was fully handled by the creative director. Everything else was created by me. The buildings in the city at the end were made using edited kitbash buildings, but everything else was created from scratch.
Everything was done within Blender.
This is a sizzle reel for the company as a whole. I played the role of editor on it, as well as animated all the animation and movement. Though if there is animation on a website, it is just a screen capture from the website itself. However, I have created many SVG and GIF animations for websites, so some of the movement might be mine, but it’s likely the web developers and designers.
Edited in Premiere, animations done in Blender and After Effects.
This is a quick animated spot I created for Backroads Spirits Co. The makers of Alibi Vodka. This was one was all me while in communication with the owner of the company.
Created using Blender
Augmented Reality
I wanted to include a small section showcasing some augmented reality work I’ve created. I feel there might be a place for it within marketing. All my augmented reality work was done entirely by myself using Blender, Unity, Vuforia (Unity Asset), and Substance Painter.
A unique thing about creating work for augmented reality is how efficient I have to be with my models and textures so that they will be viewable on as many devices as possible. I tend to use image anchors in my work, because they are the most precise, but location and spatial anchors are also possible.
This was a spec piece I created for an augmented reality comic book.
This was recorded and edited by one of my coworkers who came to my show at PAVED arts in Saskatoon. It showcases more of my room scale AR as well as people engaging with the work.
Cinema 4D
I started my 3D journey with Cinema 4D Back in the days before Octane was a thing, and everything needed to be rendered on my 8 core i7 CPU. These are 2 pieces that show the work I was doing at the time. Both of these were finished in 2018 while I was still a freelancer, so everything was created and executed by myself.
This was a piece I was asked to create for the City of Saskatoon. It was to showcase the art and promote the city in preparation for Saskatoon hosting the Creative Cities Network Conference.
This piece was a music/lyric video I was asked to make for the band Wild. I made several music videos for them during my time as a freelancer.
After Effects
This is an old showreel I did of work I had created in After Effects as I didn’t start working in 3D until 2016. It’s older work, but shows some examples of compositing, some camera tracking, and 2.5D animation.
This is the end, but also not the end…
I’m going to assume you’ve stopped watching well before this point, but if you are still interested in seeing more feel free to check out the animation and augmented reality pages. They haven’t been updated in a while, but have links to more work.
If you have reached this point, thank you for your time.
